Now in its thirteenth year, the theme of our Annual Conference is Power is Teal. It is an affirmation that we are being seen and heard – from coast to coast, and from laboratories to legislatures. Since the founding of the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, our focus has been to bring the issues surrounding this deadly disease to the attention of law makers; to increase funding for medical and scientific research; and to increase awareness about the symptoms of ovarian cancer so that more women and their doctors will know how to identify it in the early stages, when survival is highest.
